This Hotel was awesome. Very peaceful and relaxing. My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we arrived, although late due to mishaps with the airline loosing one of the luggages and having to stop for a few items, we were greeted with nothing but smiles and an exotic strawberry drink. The staff was very accommodating in helping us with our bags to our individual villas. We had free breakfast each day from 6:30am-9:30am. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous. There are very little differences btwn the junior suites and premium suites. Such as the size of the TV and wifi. The wifi unfortunately varies by room and location, however, you can constantly connect in the lobby and restaurants. Each room also has a hot tub or jacuzzi depending on what you book however, they are located outside with the bugs and need to be cleaned before use.

Ideal for honeymoon. Altamira Restaurant, located within 5 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. I got free upgrade and greatly enjoyed it.

Our stay at Mountain Paradise was worth every penny. The room was beautiful and well-appointed, with a stunning view of the volcano. The staff treated us with warmth and made us feel welcome throughout our entire stay.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more vegetarian options available.

The view and yard behind the room are breathtaking, with a majestic view of the volcano and beautiful gardens. The towel sculptures left by the maid added a nice touch. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, greeting me with welcome drinks after a long night drive. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and loved watching the birds during it. The individual cassitas were private, comfortable, clean, and spacious, with great views. The pool was like natural hot springs and perfect for relaxing. a beautiful property with lots of beautiful birds and animals to spot.

Stunning views and private villa with pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even fixing an ant problem quickly. The warm pool and bath-like temperature were a delight. The location is perfect for exploring La Fortuna. highly recommended.

The rooms were incredibly spacious and the bathroom was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel. the view of the volcano from the hotel was stunning and the surrounding greenery made the scenery even more beautiful. the staff was very helpful, especially the tour guide who was excellent during the night walk and the hanging bridges tour. the swimming pool was a hit with the kids.

The dinner at the hotel was a bit pricey and the tap in our room was leaking.

I had the best solo retreat at Hotel Mountain Paradise! My room had a private jacuzzi with a stunning view of the Arenal volcano. The pool bar was adorable, especially at night with the beautiful lights. The bartender made my experience so cozy, taking care of everything from my preferred music to arranging a cart car in the rain. The wildlife and greenery were incredible, and it was just a 10-minute drive to downtown. Plus, Uber rides were super affordable!

During my recent stay at Hotel Mountain Paradise, I was amazed by the stunning volcano view from my private patio. The staff was exceptional and made my experience truly enjoyable. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and they even arranged tours for me. I had an incredible time exploring the hanging bridges and volcano with Nestor from Mountain Paradise. His knowledge was impressive, and I wish I had stayed longer to explore more.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as outdated bathrooms and some areas in need of updates, the effort of the housekeepers to maintain cleanliness was clear. Additionally, the property's size meant a little extra walking, or using the golf cart transport, but this was a minor inconvenience.

We were blown away by the beauty of the grounds at this hotel. We spent hours exploring and taking photos of the stunning flowers and archways framing the volcano view. The room itself was incredibly comfortable, with super comfy beds and a refreshing, powerful shower. The highlight was definitely the outdoor bathtub, where we could relax while enjoying the view and watching hummingbirds. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. Despite some minor maintenance issues with our room, we highly recommend this hotel. we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great wet bar, waterfall shower, and spa bath in the bedroom. Fantastic views of Arenal volcano. Attentive and friendly staff, including helpful receptionists and informative tour guide. Can't wait to go back!
